The next members meeting is on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at 7 p.m. It will be preceded by a picnic/cookout starting 5:30–6:30 p.m.
WRAP was formed in November 2006 out of a desire of local pilots to promote general aviation in the Williamsport area.
We usually meet at 7 p.m. on the first Monday of every month. We host aviation-related talks, presentations, safety seminars, knowledge exchange and fellowship. From May through October we start an hour earlier and have a cookout and picnic. We have about 50 active members.
On the third Saturday of every month, weather permitting, we go on a group flying adventure, sometimes close, sometimes far. On other Saturdays, we sometimes go on shorter fly-outs to have breakfast and support general aviation and community at another airport.
On the first Saturday after our monthly members meeting, pilots and students get together at 9 a.m. to discuss topics of interest to IFR pilots.
